The NvFRW previously voted in favor of a RESOLUTION that OPPOSES TRANSGENDER CHANGES IN SCHOOLS.
PLEASE ASK THE DEMOCRAT ASSEMBLY MEMBERS FOR A NO VOTE ON AB423: mandates schools allow transgender biological boys in girl’s sports, girls bathrooms, girl’s showers, girl’s hotel rooms (on school trips), etc. AB423 passed the full Senate 8 to 12 with All Republicans and Democrat Daly voting No. It now goes back to the Assembly for them to Concur or Not Concur with the horrible transgender amendment.
The original bill had nothing to do with transgenders. The amendment was added to the bill on the Senate Floor (whole Senate) with no notice and no hearing.
The Assembly has already posted on the Daily File Concur/Not Concur for Monday (they take no holidays), so I expect the VOICE vote in the Assembly will take place on Tuesday, May 30 at 11:30am.
The State Dept of Education can fine a school board of trustees $5,000 a day if they violate this policy. This is aimed at Douglas County School Board’s proposed policy which will protect girls. This will apply to every county.
