Our dear friend and member, Sylvia Divita, passed away on August 2, 2019. Sylvia had been a member of CCRW since 2016 and from the moment she joined, she hit the ground running. As Chair of the Scholarship Committee, she took her task to heart, ensuring that all aspects of the scholarship requirements were up to date and fair to all applicants. She attended BOD and luncheons on a regular basis, always ready with an update, recommendations and a friendly smile. Her willingness to complete her duties as Scholarship Chair and as an active member, even while suffering with some difficult personal conditions, proved she put her commitments first and herself second.
She was a remarkable lady, a true asset to the CCRW and will be dearly missed.
