Gold Star Mother’s Day is observed in the United States on the last Sunday of September each year. It is a day for people to recognize and honor those who have lost a son or daughter while serving the United States Armed Forces. We show our deepest gratitude to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of protecting and preserving the greatest nation on Earth.
These fallen soldiers are heroes, and they represent our country’s very best–as do the family members who stand beside their loved ones in service. We hope you’ll join the Nevada Republican Party in honoring and supporting the mothers who had to endure the anguish of their hero never returning home – let’s pray for them on this somber day of recognition.
To every veteran in Nevada and across the country: we thank you for your service, sacrifice, and bravery. And to every mother who has had to endure the loss of a child in the armed forces: know that this loss was not in vain.
