NEVADA 2026 VOTER CHECKLIST

Follow these four steps to ensure your voice is heard in the upcoming 2026 cycle.

1. Update Your Registration
Visit VOTE.NV.gov to confirm that your information is current.
• Verify: Residential and/or mailing addresses, party registration, email, and cell phone number.
• Why: Accurate contact information ensures you receive election-related updates and your mail-in ballot at the correct address.

2. Verify Your Identification
Ensure your Nevada Driver’s License or state ID is valid and up-to-date.
• If your identification has expired, visit your local DMV or ID card issuer’s office to renew or update your information before the registration deadlines.

3. Identify Trusted Sources of Information
Avoid misinformation by relying only on official government channels:
• Nevada Secretary of State’s Office: Visit NVSOS.gov.
• Local Authorities: Contact your local County Clerk or Registrar of Voters.
• Online: Follow official social media handles @NVSOS.

4. Make Your Voting Plan
• Research: Review candidates and ballot questions in advance.
• Method: Decide if you will vote in person (Early or Election Day), by mail, or via an official ballot dropbox.
• Location: Identify your nearest polling place. Note that Early Voting hours vary by county, but Election Day polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
