AB 330 – SCHOOL SAFETY BILL
From: Yolanda Knaak:
Alert! Governor Lombardo’s AB330 SCHOOL SAFETY BILL has passed the Assembly, but it is stuck in the Senate Education Committee. PLEASE EMAIL THE CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR OF THE COMMITTEE AND ASK for AB330 to be brought to a vote. AB330 allows a teacher to remove a student from their class if they pose a risk of violence.

Dear Chair Roberta Lang and Vice Chair Edgar Flores
Please do what is needed to bring AB330 to a vote in the Senate Education Committee. Parents are removing their children in record numbers from public school, and it’s because of the violence which has been well documented in Washoe County Schools. By holding back this bill, you are doing a HUGE disservice to our public schools, children and parents. Parents are scrambling to find an alternate education for their children, because they feel unsafe sending their children to public school.
PLEASE BRING AB330 TO A VOTE!
Thank you,
Your name and County
